Damange is something we would all like to avoid. Fortunately, you can be confident that the vehicle you're about to drive has been thoroughly checked for signs of damage prior to pick up. As part of our process, we ask you check the vehicle for any damage and compare this to our records. Any damage is detailed on this report and by you signing this you accept this is a true representation of the vehicle state when your hire commences.
What we mean by 'chargeable damage'. Just so that everything's clear.
Scratch: Scratches greater than 10mm or less than 10mm if the bare metal/plastic is showing.
Scuff: 2 or more scratches within the same area, or multiple marks across the same surface area, above 10mm or less than 10mm if the bare metal/plastic is showing.
Dent: Any deformation of any body panel or, panel gap mis-alignment greater than 10mm.
Glass: Any chip or crack, any crack or light cluster, any crack to mirror.
Allow wheels: Scratches greater than 10mm.
Wheel trims: Any damage greater than 10mm.
Tyre: Any damage to the tyre, including damage to the sidewall of the tyre, punctures and where the vehicle has been driven on a flat tyre.
Locks: Any damage
Fuel Contamination
Any damage that is caused intentionally or by gross negligence
Please note that if any damage occurs during your hire, you are responsible for any costs up to the excess level you agreed to at the point of hire; see our terms and conditions for more details. Our appointed trade person needs to assess each damage. Once they have done so, we can inform you of the cost.
