For added flexibility, you can choose to pick up your vehicle in either Edinburgh or Glasgow and return it to either location — one-way rentals are no problem.
Customers are welcome to use our complimentary parking at our Glasgow headquarters.
We have a range of different campervan styles to choose from. To see how many people each van sleeps, simply use the filter when booking or look for the sleeping-capacity icon. Each campervan listing clearly shows how many people it can comfortably sleep.
Yes, all our vans have heaters in the living area.
Yes! We welcome pets and have a dedicated pet friendly Campervan which allows your real best friend to enjoy your holiday with you.
We do charge £40 per hire for bring along your loved one, this helps cover the cost to deep clean the van for the next guest.
Your vehicle registration is in the reserved email we sent you when you originally booked. If you can’t find it, email us, and we will reply as soon as possible.
No, we recommend you take out additional insurance cover for your belongings.
Each hire includes fully comprehensive insurance. However, as with all hire companies, an excess applies, which the main driver is responsible for in the event of a claim, in accordance with our insurance agreement.

We keep our fleet well maintained and up to date, making breakdowns very unlikely. That said, if the unexpected does happen, you’re fully covered by our roadside breakdown service, who will assist you promptly and get you back on your way.
No! We allow unlimited mileage with all our vans so you are free to take it from Lands’ End to John o’ Groats if you so desire!
There is added insurance premiums for taking the campervans outside the UK. Get in touch with us and we will advise you further of this.

Yes. Every campervan or motorhome is a privilege member of the camping and caravanning club. This entitles you to a discount for your campsite fees with some sites only allowing members to stay. To try out the UK Club Sites using the Privilege Scheme, all you need to do to book a pitch is call the Camping and Caravanning Club contact centre on 024 7767 0091 for UK Club Sites or 024 7767 0279 for Camping in the Forest and let the advisor know that you have this pack. They will take a small deposit from you to secure your pitch and the balance will be due upon arrival at the site. You’ll need to show the site Mangers the Privilege pack or key fob found in your pack on arrival to the site for the members’ discount to be applied – please be aware that some of the sites operate a minimum booking period.
Cancellation & Insurance
We strongly recommend that you take out your own insurance to cover unavoidable cancellation.

If you cancel your booking more than six (6) weeks prior to the departure date, a full refund will be issued.

If you cancel between six (6) and four (4) weeks prior to departure, your 25% deposit will be retained.

If you cancel within 28 days of the departure date, the full amount is non-refundable.
Right to Cancel
We reserve the right to cancel your booking if any of the following criteria are not met:

Any information provided at the time of booking is incorrect or invalid (e.g. driver’s licence number).

Yes! On arrival we will walk you through how to use the van and all the information to get you on your way. Also on your dashboard you will able to access a video demonstration, we are just rolling this out so please bear with us, most vans are on the site, the rest will follow shortly.
Yes! We provide complimentary unlimited Wi-Fi in our Campervans. Please note that whilst we provide the router- the strength and signal of the Wi-Fi is area dependant and out of our control.

Our insurance company require 2 x proof of address. For UK drivers these must match your driving license, if it does not match, please update your license on the DVLA website, its a legal requirement.
For Non UK drivers these must be where you reside in but depending on the country you live in, we understand in some countries its not a legal requirement for your driving license to be updated when you move home.
In the event of any damage, our insurance company have an excess. For our standard insurance this £1500, if you take excess reduction this liability if reduced to £750. Up to the excess the main driver is liable for these cost’s should damage incur to the vehicle.
It’s not always easy to give an exact answer, as it depends on how many appliances you’re using and for how long.
On average, you can expect around 2–3 days of battery use. If you’re driving each day, this will help recharge the battery as you go. We recommend keeping an eye on your battery level, and if it drops to 40%, it’s best to either connect to mains power, take the vehicle for a drive, or briefly run the engine.
Where possible, we always suggest staying on campsites with electric hook-up pitches for added peace of mind and comfort.

Note: It’s really important that you inform us of any damage, no mater how minor so we can make sure we order any parts as we have a tight turnaround.
We ask for your documents 21 days before departure, on average our insurance company make a decision normally with 2 business days. >99% of applications get approved.
If you reside outside UK, EU, AU, US, CA, NZ & SA we would recommend that once you booked with us, we will look to get your application over asap, as our insurance company may require further information.
Note if our insurance does reject your application, we will refund your money paid.
In most cases Yes, but depending on the offence our insurance company have the right to increase your vehicle excess liability. This normally occurs when you > 6 points on your UK license. For non UK this will depend on the points system in your country.
If you are aged between 23 – 70, have a minimum of 2 years driving experience, this meets our insurance company standard requirements. If you are aged outside of this age bracket, it may be still possible to drive our vehicle but we will be required to refer to our insurance company for a decision.

We have moved away from gas and are now fully electric, with off-grid capability, thanks to our investment in a lithium power setup.

Processing: Once you have made a booking with us you will receive an email stating that we are Processing your booking.
Reserved: This means your vehicle dates are secured, it will stay at this status until we have received all your necessary paper work and you have paid your security deposit.
Confirmed: Your good to go…Your application has been approved by our insurance company and your security deposit paid.
On your dashboard you will see the status of your booking.

The Sprinters are classed as a light good vehicle.

Light Goods Vehicles Pickups and Commercial Vehicles
Light vans and pickups not exceeding 6 metres long, 3 metres high, 2.3 metres wide, and 3.5 tonnes plated weight, are charged at the light goods vehicle rate. The LGV rate includes the driver’s fare.
We process your security deposit withing 24 hours of you returning the van, subject to no damage occurring.
Depending on your bank it can take up to 10 business days for your records to be updated.
As we take only a pre authorization, you will not see this payment go back in your account, you will see the balance available change as these funds were locked and now released.
Please note: Our minimum hire period is 3 days, except for Lulu, which has a 5-day minimum.
If you require a vehicle for less than 3 days, we can accommodate this; however, you will be charged for the full 3-day minimum.

Our collection time is between 15:00 and 16:00. If you would like a time outside this window, please contact us.
The van is required to be back by 11:00 clock. If you need a later return, please contact us for availability.
We offer a wide selection of vans, all designed with off-grid adventures in mind.
Our Volkswagen vans are fully equipped for off-grid use, and our Crafter (Lulu) also includes a shower and toilet for added convenience.
Our Mercedes van features gas cooking facilities, so the only thing that won’t work off-grid is the 230V electrical system.
While these vans can accommodate off-grid travel, we always recommend using campsites where possible.
Yes, we do for a £50 fee, providing the van is already in the day before/after. This can be added on at the time of booking under the extras/add-ons part or anytime afterwards by contacting us.
